1. Platforms Type and Accessibility

According to the LetsExchange Terms of Service, all exchanges are executed not by the platform itself, but by its partners [1]. The list of their providers can be found on the Providers page and includes Mercuryo, Aura Exchange, Transak, and others [2]. The platform offers both fixed rate and market (floating) rate options.

ChangeNOW cooperates with third-party liquidity providers and sometimes, in limited cases, third-party exchange service providers, such as Swapzone [3]. They also offer fixed and floating rates.

ChangeNOW’s website has clear interface with intuitive sitemap:

On the top of the main screen you can go to the exchange page, buy / sell pages, explore the NOW Ecosystem, solutions for businesses, support options, and blog with regularly updated articles.

You can also find an exchange calculator to not spend time clicking on the exchange page. In the calculator you can choose your swap pair, like BTC to ETH, and get the estimated rate.

Not really obvious, especially for newcomers, – you can choose fixed / floating mode. To do so you need to click the lock. It’s a good thing for newbies that ChangeNOW explains what these two modes mean.

On the main screen you also can see Trustpilot rating and ChangeNOW Pro account login, choose language, see ways of buying crypto, and connect to support manager via Telegram. But we will look closer at those features later in our review.

LetsExchange also has a simple and clear interface. On the top of the page we see options to explore features for users and for other businesses, company information page, support, and blog, along with language options and account registration button. You can instantly see all main functions of the platform: swapping crypto, buying and selling with fiat, bridge, and DEX.

Another interesting detail is the hidden promo code. By clicking on it you'll be able to swap crypto with 0% service fee.

Right there we also see Trustpilot ratings. Choosing between market and fixed rate is more newbie-friendly as it is obviously seen on the top of the widget.

ChangeNOW supports both Android and iOS apps for its exchange. Mobile apps support WalletConnect for fast access to your wallets. You can protect your funds with PIN code, as well as allow / forbid notifications. Allowing notifications lets you get time-sensitive notifications on time.

LetsExchange does not have mobile versions yet.

ChangeNOW Telegram bot has around 200 tokens, according to the bot description. But as our research showed, the bot let users exchange newly listed currencies. It may mean that Telegram bot supports as much crypto as the platform itself.

The bot is available only in dialogue format, which may seem inconvenient to some users. The Bot responds within seconds.

On the other hand, LetsExchange telegram bot offers an in-app widget which looks more convenient that ChangeNOW’s bot.

According to their FAQ section, ChangeNOW fees include fees of exchange stages: the network fee for depositing from the customer’s wallet, the network fee to the liquidity provider, the trading fee charged by the provider, and the network fee for sending funds back to the customer [4]. ChangeNOW calculates them in advance and selects the most profitable route to ensure the final amount is as close to the estimate as possible.

LetsExchange fees include: both blockchains commission during crypto-to-crypto swaps, the liquidity provider’s commission, the AML verification commission, and the LetsExchange own commission [5].

Both platforms have cross-chain bridges. LetsExchange, at the moment of writing, offers 17 chains for cross-chain bridges. ChangeNOW has a wider selection of 25 chains, including rare ones like Linea. What is notable, during research we found out that minimum swap amount for USDt (ERC20) to USDt (SOL) is almost 40 times lower at ChangeNOW, making it a good LetsExchange alternative for bridging small amounts.

LetsExchange hasn’t published the official transaction speed. As they execute transactions through providers, they rely on their speed. Trustpilot reviews from real users are mixed – some say the platform is lightning-fast, while others complain it’s too slow:
