The First Ever Humanoid to Become CEO of a Metaverse Company
Chinese gaming and metaverse company NetDragon has announced that it will appoint a virtual humanoid robot as its new female CEO.
“Ms. Tang Yu” will not only oversee the organizational and operational processes, but will also become a live data hub and an analytical tool for decision making.
Ms. Tang Yu is the first AI-powered robot to become the head of a company. The move marks a big step towards integrating Metaverse into the workplace, the initiative demonstrated by NetDragon. It remains to be seen whether other companies will follow or not. One way or another, the Metaverse market will keep growing and is expected to reach $280 billion by 2025.
