LUNA 2.0 and LUNC Available on ChangeNOW

May 28th was the day that all Terra holders had been looking forward to — the new Terra 2.0 blockchain was launched, following a successful community voting upon the proposal of Do Kwon, co-founder of Terra. On May 8, Terra’s stablecoin UST depegged from the US Dollar, following liquidity issues in the Anchor protocol.

• The new Terra 2.0 blockchain is to be launched on May 28. Its main asset has the old name, LUNA.
• Old LUNA tokens will keep running on the old blockchain under the name of LUNC.
• The new LUNA doesn’t offer a new stablecoin. The old UST will be called USTC.

All LUNC holders who owned LUNA before May 26 have automatically received new LUNA coins on the Terra 2.0 blockchain.
