MetaWeek 2022 was a 4-day event organized in the Grand Hyatt Dubai hotel in the United Arab Emirates from 11 to 14 September 2022. You may have guessed from the name that the main topic of attention was the metaverse and its impact on the world economy.
This virtual world is believed to be capable of bringing in revenues of over $1 trillion annually. The metaverse is about playing games, exchanging NFTs, and creating unique experiences. Dubai wants to become a leader in this industry and create new job opportunities for tens of thousands of people.
The MetaWeek was scheduled to discuss what strategies to apply for Dubai to become a metaverse hotspot. The event was attended by NFT creators, game developers, and DeFi experts. This crypto event attracted Fintech powerhouses from over 3.000 different companies. It’s believed that more than 11.000 people were at the venue to learn how crypto is revolutionizing the global payment industry.

Istanbul Blockchain Week was one of the biggest crypto conferences in Q3 of 2022. It consisted of various events, all organized in the capital of Turkey and its Hilton Bomonti Hotel on the 14 – 17 November 2022.
The expos included IstanDAO, which discussed how DAOs could affect the future of web3. There was also W3E Gaming, focusing on blockchain-based games and virtual entertainment. Lastly, IstanHack was about the technologies of the future.
The visitors also got the chance to learn about the BNB Chain’s effect on the cryptocurrency industry. Gaming fans had free entry to an eSports tournament, and a workshop was organized explaining how to cost-effectively trade on DeFi platforms.
