Binance to Convert Three Stablecoins into Its Own BUSD
In a statement from August 5, Binance has announced that it will launch the BUSD auto-conversion on September 29.
This means that from that day on, users’ balances and new deposits in USD Coin, Pax Dollar, and True USD will automatically be converted into Binance USD.
Binance will stop spot, future, and margin trading with the three above-mentioned stablecoins. However, users will still be able to withdraw their funds in USDC, USDP or TUSD. According to the statement, the move is aimed at enhancing liquidity and capital efficiency for Binance customers.
