Introduction
ChangeNOW ("the Company") maintains its commitment to lawful cooperation with duly licensed attorneys and legal representatives acting within the scope of legitimate proceedings.
These guidelines set out the procedure and conditions for submitting and processing attorney requests for information, in compliance with the laws of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (“SVG”) and the Company’s data protection obligations.
Scope
These guidelines apply exclusively to attorney-initiated information requests that are not accompanied by a valid court order or government warrant. Requests from law enforcement, regulators, or state authorities remain governed by the Law Enforcement Request Guidelines. The Company operates as a non-custodial service provider, which means that it does not hold user funds.
Request Eligibility and Format
To be considered for review, an attorney request must:
- Originate from a duly licensed legal professional authorized to practice law within a recognized jurisdiction;
- Be submitted on the official law firm’s letterhead;
- Clearly state the legal interest or representation basis (e.g., representation of a victim, client, or party to ongoing litigation);
- Be supported by a power of attorney or engagement confirmation where applicable.
Mandatory Requirements
Each request must include the following details:
- Full legal name and bar registration number of the requesting attorney;
- Jurisdiction of admission and official verification link (e.g., bar register);
- Firm name, address, and professional contact information;
- Case or reference number (if applicable);
- Clear description of the data requested and its intended use;
- Sufficient technical identifiers to enable accurate tracing (e.g., transaction hash, wallet address, timestamp, platform reference);
Requests lacking the above details may be delayed or declined.
Verification
The Company reserves the right to:
- Verify the authenticity of the request and the attorney’s credentials via official registries;
- Require additional documentation to establish representation or relevance;
- Decline or limit disclosure if the verification fails or the legal basis appears insufficient.
Processing Timeframes
- Initial acknowledgment: within 3 business days;
- Standard review and response: within 10 business days following validation;
- Complex or cross-jurisdictional requests: up to 20 business days.
Urgent cases (e.g., fraud or asset tracing) should be clearly marked “URGENT” and supported by justification.
Data Disclosure Policy
Consistent with the Company’s Terms of Service and applicable SVG law:
- Technical transaction data (e.g., blockchain transaction hashes, routing details, timestamps, IP logs, or wallet addresses) may be shared at the Company’s discretion.
- Personal identification or KYC data (e.g., passports, names, addresses) will only be disclosed upon receipt of a valid court order or equivalent judicial authorization.
- The Company does not store financial account data, private keys, or wallet balances.
All disclosures are limited strictly to data actually available within the Company’s systems. Requests must comply with the laws of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as the Company is incorporated and operates under this jurisdiction.

All attorney communications are treated confidentially. Data transmission occurs through secure channels, and all processed materials are handled in compliance with Company’s Privacy Policy and internal security standards.
