VOLT INU is one of the tokens on the crypto market that can be categorized as both a hyper-deflationary token and a meme coin. VOLT was launched in December 2021. The project aims to invest in several types of assets, including NFTs, altcoins, and nodes. Profits from such investments, known as treasury investments, are then used to buy back and burn VOLT tokens.
VOLT INU’s hyper-deflationary characteristic is also maintained by the project’s tokenomics. VOLT is an Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain-based token meaning that tokenomics vary depending on the token’s standard. The ERC-20 tokenomics are: 1% of each transaction is spent on reflection, 2% is burnt, 2% is sent to the liquidity pool, 4% is utilized for marketing, and 4% is distributed to treasure. Tokenomics concerning VOLT on the BNB chain are similar but 4% of each transaction is burnt and none is allocated to liquidity. VOLT can either be used as a means of payment, to reward active members of the VOLT INU community or within the upcoming ecosystem products.
In March 2022, the team behind the project announced that the VOLT token is being migrated to a new smart contract. The migration took place the following month, supplying the token with improved features such as the ability to be listed on CEXs.
