The annual fee for the gateway usage is also paid in QNT tokens which in return allows developers and enterprises to get paid a share of the transaction fees.
In September 2021, the Quant Network released the Overledger 2.0.5 which expanded the interoperability it already offered. According to their Twitter Overledger 2.0.5 “bridges ecosystems with Stablecoins, DeFi, NFTs & popular ERC20/ERC721 digital assets for clearing & settlement”.
